Week 02 - Use of Silhouettes

This weeks assignment had us practice silhouettes for our interactable character and our player hands in the VR game we are developing. I continued to iterate on the Hercules and Megara's hands designs.

Megara

For Megara's hands, I looked at different kinds of jewelry to add to her silhouette. I also experimented with perhaps only having her palm and the bracelet floating behind her, since I heard getting the deformation correct on the wrist is difficult.

Hercules

For Hercules I experimented with incorporating the Nemean Lion pelt as a cloak for him. I imagine he is still early within the 12 Labors, but shows off his victory against the lion. Personally I really like the capes where the Nemean Lion's head is on his shoulder.
I also included Hercules wearing typical Ancient Greek clothing as well. Some of them are pretty basic, since I thought it would be funny for a demigod with a massive physique to have plain outfits.
Also with his outfits I included some motifs of the Meander pattern, or the Greek Key pattern. This is also apparent in some of Megara's bracelet designs.
